Singapore 25th – 28th July
Day 1 – 25th July
Arrived 5pm (travelled 12 hours from Bateau Bay) – taxi from airport – beautiful rain trees, gardens cleans cars and streets
Gross satay, few beers early night in Chinatown cheap hotel/mattress.
Day 2 – 26th July (Happy Birthday)
Breaky at cool place – November Bistro!! Jen had poached pear with kaffir lime, exotic yoghurt with cumin. I had walnut banana bread with mixed conserves – passionfruit curd, burnt apple jam, organic butter and thyme infused honey. This was washed down with two turbo charged coffees. Unrool
Train pass – Little India mad temple
Walked around China town – Buddha Tooth Relic temple – sick
Ordered lunch at local rest – rice char siu pork – so good – 9 bucks
Massage
Gardens by the sea – sick as bro – two domes
Saw Marina Bay Sands
Beacon bar – beers n a pizza
Rooftop @ Orgo’s on the Durian – champers, mojito, birfdee cake, light show
Rolled home, crashed
Day 3 – 27th July
Walking Tour of Riverfront with Wei – learnt heaps about history of Singapore. He was an energetic little dude who told us all about the 7 phases of Singapore History, took us through the old parliament where we saw the chair that Lee Kew Yuen used to sit in (what a dude). We also learnt that all men must do National Service for most of their lives. We saw a cool museum with a polka dot exhibition and walked around the “Old Town” and got heaps of history in our skulls…

Chili crab @ JUMBO – Lobster cream, dragonfuit salad with caviar. Prawns in sweet cereal crumb. Singapore Chili Crab (HOT), seafood fried rice (delicate and delicious – just shallot, egg, soy and prawns.) Italian soda with lychee, maraschino cherry and dragon fruit pulp and mango, sago and pomello ice (tasted just like a tropical Turner’s Fruit Block!!! Unrool!!
Day 4 – 28th July

Back to gardens – Super trees – hot as
Jen Chinese massage
Packed – food court at People’s Park
Train to Changi Airport – easy as LOVED IT!!!
