Ciao Bellas from the Tuscan coastal town of Albinia - not Albania,

After we got Delph, Jen drove about 700 km over two days, and we ended up in a basic little caravan park in the Tuscan town of Saturnia.

Saturnia is famous for one thing, and that is thermal springs, which are free to use and open 24/7.

Cool.

We parked up and decided to wait for the early morning to hit the spas, as it would be in the shade and the afternoon was a scorcher.

At Sparrow’s we jumped on the bikes, rode up a hill to the lookout, grabbed some cheeky pics, and then spent an hour in the hot thermal springs with about 50 other people.

The water is said to contain healing properties, but the main thing it contained was sulphur.

The entire joint stunk like rotten eggs.

I’m not even yoking, that’s eggsactly what it smelt like. Fowl!!

It was a good experience though, and we spent a few days detoxing from the booze/bread/cheese fest that we had in Puglia. We also made a plan for the next few weeks.

The only downside is that the clothes that we wore while we were there are now imbued with the shtank of the shulfur... Sheesh. I washed them in the washing machine, and they still smell like egg farts!!

After two nights, we headed for the coast and checked into an amazing caravan park in the coastal town of Albinia: Nomad Argentario.

It is definitely cooler here with a beautiful sea breeze.

The caravan park even has its own beach and bar: Singita Miracle Beach.

Yep, three days of swimming, riding bikes, eating and organising. The beach bar is done like a Thai/Balinese resort and is beautifully crafted with macrame hangings, carved flower pots and palm tree trunks, brollies and sunbeds and a general Asian vibe on the Mediterranean. Very cool. It also faces West and is famous for the sunsets. Check out the gallery below.

So that’s it.

The plan os to travel north and spend time in Siena, Lucca and Levanto, before parking up Delp at Genoa and leaving the Schengen zone to do a two week jaunt to Egypt and Jordan.

La Dolce Vita indeed.

Ciao, mi bellas.
